The online paleography seminar, organized by the American Boccaccio Association, is co-sponsored by the Ente Nazionale Giovanni Boccaccio, together with the organizational support of the Center for Medieval Studies at Fordham University.

It will teach participants the methodological and practical components of Latin and vernacular paleography by experts in the field from a variety of Italian universities. The teaching program will include introductions to the major Florentine and Roman libraries; paleography classes using Latin and vernacular manuscripts, and transcription practice.
